Ceske Budejovice is a pretty town with nice beer.

Ceske Budejovice is often overshadowed by Prague and Cesky Krumlov. Two cities that are very pretty, but also crawling with tourists. But don’t get it wrong. The town is actually very attractive. It has a lovely old town center. It’s not a big city. But big enough to have the facilities that a traveler like me is asking for. The town has around 100 000 inhabitants, so you can easily get around the center of town by foot or bicycle.

I just spent a few days exploring southern Bohemia. Both with e-bike and by foot. I was based in a lovely little village with a fantastic local brewery.

In central Sri Lanka you have a fortress on top of a giant rock. It’s called Sigiriya. And it’s probably the most spectacular sight on the island of Sri Lanka.

Right next to the international airport in Sri Lanka you have Negombo. A bustling town with a fairly nice beach.
