Maritimo is one is one of my favourite football clubs to watch at the stadium when I travel the world. And I get to see them every now and then, as I work a fair bit on Madeira Island. They have a cozy little stadium in a great setting and a very lively crowd.

Olhanense supporters.

The crowd is small, but very passionate. “You son of a bitch”, flies through the air every minute and it comes from adults, children, old grannies. And whoever is watching the game. The game is not really that exiting. But the referee makes so many mistakes that it becomes a very entertaining afternoon anyway at the Olhanense football stadium.
