My room at Guest House Lun.

Last night I stayed in this wonderful little guest house in Mostar. I was very happy there, i I decided to give Guest House Lun a mention on my blog.

Mostar is a very popular destination for tourists these days. This is because of the famous bridge, that was destroyed in the Yugoslavian civlil war. It has now been totally rebuild and tourists are flocking in their thousands every week.

Mostar is beautiful.

On top of having the famous bridge, Mostar is actually a very pleasant town that is worth a couple of nights stay if you have the time for it.

I just stayed there last night and decided to search for a budget place, as I was not working in Mostar this time, but paying for the accommodation myself.

I came across a little place called Guest House Lun. It’s kinda hidden in a little alley, but there are good signposts showing the way to it, so it was easy to find.

I had booked the place online in advance and was met by a very friendly young Bosnian girl who greeted me in Norwegian. I am danish, so I understand Norwegian too.

She showed me to my room, which was on the top floor. It had a nice little balcony with cushions. The bathroom was outside my room, but I was the only one there, so this did not make a dig deal for me.

The nice girl also brought me a free welcome drink, making me feel even more welcome.

My bed was very comfortable and the place had very well functioning wifi. So that I could get a little work done while i was in my room. Be ware that there is a winding staircase going up to the rooms. This was not an issue for me at all. But just be ware that you need to walk with your luggage up these stairs.

I only paid 20€ for my single room at Guest House Lun. I would highly recommend guest house Lun if you are looking for a cheap but nice place in Mostar.

The address of the place is Alajbegovića 12. This is a street that is just off Marsala Tita street, where you have a nice big sign showing the way to Guest House Lun.

The phone number of the place is +387603849046 if you want to call them.

So this is my recommendation if you are visiting Mostar. Hope you will have as nice a stay as I had if you decide to go there.

Claus.
