Hirsholmene is an archipelago with 8 tiny rocky islands in the north of Denmark. Only one single person lives there permanently these days. But it’s still a very interesting place to visit if you ask me.

Copenhagen has a church with a climbing wall on the church tower.

There is church with a climbing wall in Copenhagen.

If you visit Copenhagen, then you might want to go a little off the tourist trail and visit Frederiksholm church. It’s a very progressive and unique church that has build a climbing wall on the church tower.

I spent 2018 in 14 different countries.

2018 was another good travel year for me. I went to see some new countries. Returned to some countries I have previously been to. I had a pretty good work-life balance, with 150 days of work and 215 days of traveling the world for fun.

Skarø town center.

Skarø is a small island in southern Denmark that has only 32 inhabitants. 2 of them are my cousins though, so I visit the island frequently. And I totally love the place.

Heartland Festival at Egeskov Castle.

Heartland Festival at Egeskov Castle.

In southern Denmark there is a music festival called Heartland. It’s situated right by a medieval castle. On top of having great music, it also has talks with world famous people and gourmet food instead of the usual lousy fastfood that you get at most music festivals. I just went to Heartland Festival and I loved it.
